I am a Medical doctor currently working in Surgery. I specialize in teaching USMLE step 1 and step 2 CK. My teaching methodology is simple and it works wonders for students. Usually, an advanced-level tutor expects that the student knows the basics of a topic and they dive right into intricate details. This idea is terrible and students always feel flabbergasted. I have personally researched for two years how to learn best and actually retain the topics in a surprisingly short amount of time. I fully involve the student, utilizing a 66-year-old method called the learning pyramid with some personal tweaks. The student will have to actively participate in the learning process and this constructivist approach will leave you with lifelong learning skills making medical school easier and more fun than ever.

Are you preparing for the GAMSAT and feeling overwhelmed by Section III? The Reasoning in Biological and Physical Sciences section is not a standard university science exam—it is a rigorous test of critical thinking, pattern recognition, and data interpretation under immense time pressure. To excel, you need more than just rote memorization; you need a strategic approach to problem-solving. As a US-trained Ph.D. Scientist with over 10 years of teaching experience, I specialise in transforming complex scientific concepts into clear, manageable, and highly understandable lessons. My background spans advanced Chemistry, Medical Biochemistry, and Computational Biology, allowing me to seamlessly guide you through the toughest biology, chemistry, and physics questions the GAMSAT throws at you. What you will learn & My Methodology: 🎯 Strategic Thinking: We move beyond simple memorization. I will teach you how to analyze complex questions critically, interpret data rapidly, and extract key information from dense scientific passages. 🔬 Solid Scientific Foundation: We will build and reinforce the essential principles of Physics, General/Organic Chemistry, and Biology, tailored exactly to the depth required by the GAMSAT syllabus. 📚 Advanced Learning Tools: I provide professionally structured, screen-sharing-friendly study guides formatted in LaTeX. Furthermore, we will implement evidence-based retention systems like Anki (spaced repetition) to ensure you permanently retain complex metabolic pathways and physics formulas for exam day. 💡 Simplifying the Complex: I break down intimidating topics into easy-to-understand segments using visual aids and interactive exercises to maximize your retention and minimize study fatigue.
